Another high-profile member of the Trump Administration is out.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has confirmed that Homeland Security adviser Tom Bossert resigned from his post today.

Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs reported that Bossert was essentially being fired, as he is resigning at the request of new National Security Adviser John Bolton.

NBC’s Peter Alexander also said Bossert had no plans on resigning any time soon.

NEW: Bossert was socializing last night w current/fmr US intel officials a conference in GA. A source close to him tells @KenDilanianNBC that Bossert was not aware of any intention at WH to seek his resignation, and had no intent to resign.

Bossert’s departure comes amid a major shake-up in which Rex Tillerson, Hope Hicks, H.R. McMaster and several other major Trump Administration officials took their leave from the White House.
