‘Act of Terror’: Truck Mows Down Pedestrians in Stockholm, At Least Three Dead
A truck plowed into a crowded area of central Stockholm, Friday morning with at least 15 injuries and three deaths already reported. There are also reports of gunshots in the area. The truck mowed down pedestrians in a crowded shopping area in the Swedish capital. Swedish Prime Minister, Stefan Lofven called the incident an “act of terror,” and said that one suspect was under arrest.

The area has reportedly been closed off by police.
Ongoing reports indicate that the truck used in the suspected attack was stolen earlier Friday during a delivery. Stockholm’s central train station has been evacuated, and authorities are reportedly maintaining a heavy presence in the area.
