British Royal Family Launches Flickr Account

Perhaps taking inspiration from the Obama White House’s popular Flickr feed the intensely private and paparazzi beleaguered British Royal Family has decided to open one of their own.

Starting Monday 600 photos will be added to the stream, including “early pictures of Queen Victoria and other leading figures form the era, images of Queen Elizabeth II as a baby and pictures of the latest royal events.” Not exactly competition for News of the World but no doubt fun for Royal Watchers.
