Carrie Fisher Had an ‘Intense’ Affair With Harrison Ford While Filming Star Wars

Almost 40 years later, Carrie Fisher is revealing some juicy behind the scenes info from her time working on Star Wars. She recently told People Magazine that she and Harrison Ford had a real-life romance that lasted for three months while they were filming the movie.

“It was so intense,” she told the mag. “It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend.” At the time, she was 19, and Ford was 33, and married with two children.

She says the affair lasted only three months and that it ended when filming wrapped. Despite the affair’s brevity, she remembers the time fondly, telling People, “He was kind.”
