Check Out This Angry Cyclist Smashing His Friend’s Bike in Two
“When you (sic) heart rate is above 190 and you train all year for finals and get crashed out … there are a lot of feelings running through you….” cyclist Jeremy Santucci wrote on Facebook.
It was those feelings, apparently, which caused Santucci to slam the bike he was riding with (which actually belonged to his friend) down to the ground — which caused the bike to split in two.
The incident happened at the Red Hook Criterium bike race in Milan on Saturday. Someone in the stands pointed out the obvious and told Santucci he’d destroyed the bike.
“It was already destroyed,” Santucci responded, angrily.
Santucci later apologized in an Instagram post, and gave his friend a “complete bike,” to make good for the destruction.
