Chelsea Handler Drops First Trailer for Netflix Documentary Series
Former Chelsea Lately talk show host Chelsea Handler dropped the first teaser for her new Netflix documentary series on Wednesday.
Since ending her popular E! television program on Aug. 26, 2014, Handler has been keeping busy lampooning people on her Instagram account and finding other outlets to comment on contemporary events. Meanwhile, everyone has been busily awaiting news of her new talk show on Netflix, which was announced ahead of Chelsea Lately‘s end.
According to this first teaser, however, Chelsea Does is actually a four-part documentary series.
“I haven’t had a lot going on recently so I decided, ‘Screw it! Why not do something completely different?'” jokes Handler. “So it’s a four-part documentary series on Netflix.”
She then proceeds to spend an awkward 15 seconds of silence demonstrating her “serious side.”
According to Netflix, “Chelsea Handler is going there. In this new four-part documentary series, Handler is asking the questions that we all have, but are too afraid to ask. Delving into topics that fascinate her: marriage, racism, Silicon Valley, and drugs — all with her wry and unique sense of humor.”
All four episodes, which will target the aforementioned topics of marriage, racism, Silicon Valley and drugs, will be available for streaming in January.
