Chelsea Handler on Interviewing Donald Trump: ‘I’m Not That Irresponsible’

Donald Trump is nothing if not a press magnet, but Chelsea Handler isn’t going to give him any more attention than he already has. She spoke to Access Hollywood‘s Scott Evans at the Democratic National Convention this week about her new Netflix show Chelsea. Of course the question of whether or not she would interview the GOP nominee came up.

“That’s irresponsible,” she said. “I’m not that irresponsible… I don’t drink and drive. I mean, why would I have him on the show, who cares? I don’t care, he doesn’t need anymore air time. Isn’t it a wrap on that? …Let’s not let this go on like the Kardashians for centuries. It’s over. …Don’t give it any more credence than it deserves. We just have to all be responsible now,” she continued. “Let’s look back at this time as a fun time when Donald Trump was running for president, and nothing more.”
