Dem Sen.: ‘No Legitimate Ethical Prosecutor’ Would Have Attacked Hillary Like Christie Did

Democratic Senator and Hillary Clinton supporter Claire McCaskill went after Chris Christie on Twitter today for his “prosecution” of Hillary Clinton.

Last night, Christie ran through a list of Clinton’s most outrageous acts while Secretary of State and declared after each one, “Guilty or not guilty?!”

There were also chants of “Lock her up!”

McCaskill hit back thusly on Twitter:

No legitimate ethical prosecutor would have ever done what Christie did last night. Ever.

Others have expressed concerns about the tone of such riled-up talk and the idea of so many Republicans demanding Clinton’s imprisonment.
