Did Arnold Schwarzenegger Drop A Political F-Bomb?

Twitterers around the world are going nuts over a letter from Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the California State Legislature — and it’s not as though they’ve all suddenly become state politics wonks.

No, they’re focused on the left hand column of the letter, which vetoes a fairly obscure legislative finance provision. If you read the first letter of each line, it pretty unmistakably spells out “F*** You.”Speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle, a spokesman for the governor (implicitly) confirms that the letter is real, but claims that it was all a “weird coincidence:” “something like this was bound to happen,” he said to the paper.

Coincidence? Judge for yourself. But would anyone really say “kicks the can down the alley” for any reason other than to begin a line with the letter K?
