DOJ Official: Will Take ‘Weeks, Not Months’ to Release More Details from Mueller Report

This afternoon multiple news outlets reported that the DOJ is saying more details from Robert Mueller‘s report should be expected in “weeks, not months.”

NPR's @johnson_carrie reports that a DOJ official says it will take “weeks not months” for the Attorney General to make a version of the Mueller report available to the public. A lawyer on the Mueller team is back at DOJ to work on the public report.

There have been bipartisan calls for Mueller’s report to be released, following the release of AG Bill Barr‘s letter on his findings.
The reporting confirms what Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said earlier today:
Graham says Barr told him it would likely take “weeks not months” to get a version of the Mueller report viewable by the public. Said they will pass through the WH to see if they want to make redactions under executive privilege.
