Donald Trump Once Accused Larry King of Having Bad Breath Live on CNN

Among the bizarre and unflattering moments from a newly-released, 25-year-old documentary of Donald Trump comes early in the film during a 1989 appearance on CNN’s Larry King Live.

Just as the interview was beginning, Trump asked Larry King, “Do you mind if I sit back a little bit, because your breath is very bad. It really is.”

“Has this ever been told to you before?” Trump proceeded to ask a bewildered King, as the two laughed a bit uncomfortably together.

Could this have been the catalyst that led King to become a spokesman for breath mints more than two decades later?
