Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You: This Seed-Filled Massage Bar Causes Plants to Grow In Your Drain
Over the past few days, there has been an influx of people posting evidence that popular soap brand Lush has a massage bar that will grow actual plants in your drain if you let it.
The Wiccy Magic Muscles bar is intended to relieve stress. The aduki beans in it are supposed to massage the user’s muscles. When it is used, though, it starts to deteriorate and the aduki beans fall out.

If those beans happen to get down the drain, in a few days, you’ll have a nosy peeper getting in your business while you shower.

As Buzzfeed reported, Lush co-founder and product inventor, Helen Ambrosen, found an admirable way to put a shiny silver lining on the scourge that is shower weeds:
We use organic aduki beans to create a texture in the massage bar, so that you’ve got small bead like shapes to massage the muscles. In order for the beans to germinate they must have been left in the shower for a few days. The results you get just go to show how fresh the ingredients really are.
Yeah. The ingredients are fresh, you ungrateful brats!
