Drudge Slams GOP Debate: Benghazi Film Trailer Did More to Attack Hillary
It would seem that Drudge Report founder Matt Drudge was not impressed with the job the GOP candidates did on attacking Hillary Clinton during last night’s debate. While Clinton was the subject of many slams and railings against Democrat policies, Drudge briefly emerged on Twitter to say that the thing that actually hurt her the most didn’t happen during the debate, but during a commercial break.
Early on, the trailer was shown from 13 Hours, the Michael Bay film that will depict the efforts of the security team that tried to defend the American diplomatic compound in Libya from the Benghazi attack. Drudge felt that showing the full-length version of the trailer was much more effectual than anything else.
Drudge’s tweets don’t usually last very long, so we have included a screenshot showing what he said:
