Former Mizzou Professor Melissa Click Has New Job at Another University

Media professor clickYou may remember Melissa Click, the former University of Missouri media professor who was fired after a video of her harassing reporters at a protest went viral. She infamously told one reporter to get out of the “no media safe space” and asking for some “muscle.”

She apologized, but was still fired. Click protested her firing, saying she was a “scapegoat” for conservatives and was only fired because she’s an easy target as a “white lady.”

Well, now she has a new job.

According to The Kansas City Star, Click has been hired for a position at Gonzaga University in Spokane. The university’s website lists her as a “lecturer” and it even reveals she’s getting published soon with her edited collection Dislike, Hate, and Anti-fandom in the Digital Age.
