Former Trump Advisor Claims Kasich Was Fired for Selling Pot in 1976
Self-described “libertarian conservative” and former Donald Trump advisor Roger Stone shed a unique angle on the post-debate Twitterati Wednesday, continuing the Trumpian attack on Ohio Governor John Kasich. While Trump criticized Kasich’s ninth place ranking and subsequent place on the stage declaring, “That’s why he’s on the end,” Stone took to Twitter to shed light on Kasich anti-drug talking points.
Hypocrisy ? I fired John Kasich from the 1976 Reagan Campaign … For selling pot to other field men

After the debate however, the Kasich campaign wasted no time in addressing the allegations, pointing cleveland.com in the direction of who they say was really Kasich’s campaign manager for then-Governor Ronald Reagan: Charlie Black. Black attempted to clear the air, saying, “This is the first time I ever heard anyone mention drugs in connection with John Kasich. He was not fired. He certainly was not fired for drugs.”
Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe once called Roger Stone, “an old dirty trickster from the Nixon days”, and in 2008 The New Yorker chronicled accusations of document forgery and reputation smearing at the hands of Stone.
