Harrison Ford Is Auctioning a Jacket From Star Wars In Honor of His Epileptic Daughter

Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 3.07.16 PMHarrison Ford is a famous actor who is funny, daring, and a little feisty. He also has a big heart, as evidenced by his recent auction of the jacket he wore in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. At an event for NYU Langone Medical Center’s Find a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures (FACES), he revealed that his daughter Georgia Ford is epileptic and his auction was for her.

When asked about the daughter who struggled with misdiagnoses before receiving the proper diagnosis of epilepsy, he said this:

I admire a lot of things about her. I admire her talent, her strength. She’s my hero. I love her … When you have a loved one who suffers from this disease, it can be devastating.

His jacket will bring in proceeds for FACES. It is being auctioned on IfOnly.com and the auction ends in 13 days. The current bid is $33,000.
