Here’s the Video That Got Pussy Riot Whipped by Cossacks

There are probably few upsides to getting attacked by Cossacks, but one of them could be making your protest video that much more exciting.

Pussy Riot were in the midst of setting up the video shoot in Sochi Wednesday afternoon when Cossacks descended upon them with whips and batons, sending one member’s husband to the hospital. The video, for the song “Putin Will Teach You How to Love Your Motherland,” was released today, and features footage of the Cossacks’ brutality—in addition to a prominent Olympics logo.
