How Much Money Did Clinton Raise Off Trump’s ‘Woman Card’ Remark?
No sooner did Donald Trump accuse Hillary Clinton of playing the “woman card” than the candidate tried to turn the remark to her advantage.
“If fighting for women’s health care and paid family leave and equal pay is playing the woman card, then deal me in,” Clinton responded. In short order her campaign was touting literal “Woman Cards” for five bucks apiece.
And now, as of Monday afternoon, ABC’s Liz Kreutz is reporting that the Clinton campaign has already raised $2.4 million off Trump’s women card comment.
