Following a prolific Home Run Derby on Monday, the best of the best in the American and National League will take the field for the midsummer classic on Tuesday night in south Florida.
In what has to be considered good news for the National League, which has dropped 16 of the last 19 All Star Games, home field advantage in the World Series is not on the line in this year’s contest. The senior circuit has lost four straight, and has only won six times dating back to 1987.
Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals will take the ball for the NL, hoping to get them back in the win column, while Chris Sale of the Boston Red Sox takes the ball for the American League
First pitch is shortly after 8:00 p.m. ET. The game will air on FOX. The action can be streamed free with a cable subscription on pc, cell phone, or tablet via Fox Sports Go — which can be found here. The Fox Sports Go app can be downloaded via the iTunes store, the Google Play store, and the Windows store.
