Huge Lightning Strike Interrupts Anderson Cooper Report From Joplin

 

Reporting from Joplin on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Anderson Cooper was right in the middle of a live report, talking about the continued threat from dangerous weather in the area, including potentially deadly lightning, when a huge lightning strike lit up the sky and sent Cooper into a defensive crouch. “Whoa. Huge bolts of lightning,” Cooper said as thunder loudly crashed around him.
