The hot takes have been coming in fast and furiously on New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who has had several on-the-field tantrums in recent weeks.
Wednesday morning on Undisputed, Skip Bayless joined the growing chorus of Beckham critics.
“I can’t defend him anymore,” Bayless said.
Bayless criticized the star wideout for participating in an interview with ESPN in which he said he’s “not having fun anymore” playing football.
Odell did yet another soul searching interview after Jerry Reese, the GM of the Giants, sat with him for 20 minutes, according to several reports, after the game. And I’m going to assume in those 20 minutes at some point Jerry Reese said, ‘You know what? You need to stop talking about this. It will help the team if you just button it up a little bit and just ignore all this distraction talk that Tom Coughlin has now raised the issue of, that Eli raised the issue of.’ Because the more he talks, the worse it’s going to impact the locker room. Because all he’s talking about is himself and his issues and his unhappiness and his problems with the team.
