Internet Bemoans the Most Unfortunately Phallic Skyscraper Ever Erected

The Greenland Puli Center was supposed to be the tallest skyscraper in the Chinese city of Jinan, a symbol of technological advancement and Chinese modernization topping out at over 300 meters.

But it currently looks like this:

A photo of the building snapped by a Jinan resident went viral on Reddit today, leading many to compare it to other unfortunately-shaped megastructures throughout the world, as well as suggestions that it should meet up with Qatar’s World Cup stadium for drinks soon.

While the city’s residents initially thought that the tower would be the pride of Shangdong province, the fact that it currently looks like a giant dick penetrating the sky got them worried. “They better finish it fast,” a user said on SkyscraperCity.com. “The shorter it looks like, uhm, that, the better.”

“They had better not show this tower to the Western Media until it has finished construction,” another added.
