Jon Stewart Plans on Running Animal Farm After Retirement

Once Jon Stewart retires from The Daily Show, he plans on going far, far away from this ridiculous world to hang out with animals on a farm in New Jersey.

Farm Sancturary, a animal rights nonprofit that advocates for the humane treatment of farm animals, announced that Stewart and his wife, Tracey, recently bought a farm in New Jersey where they would take care of cows, chickens, pigs, goats, etc., rescued from cruelty.

The kids seem to be into it, according to Tracey Stewart: “Promises of animal shelter visits in exchange for completed homework are the norm in the Stewart household.”

In gratitude for the Stewart family’s longtime support, the Farm Sanctuary named two sheep after Jon and Tracey… which maybe makes them “sheeple”?
