Kellyanne Conway Attacks Op-Ed Writer as Cowardly…Weeks After Trying to Trash Own Husband Anonymously

White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway attacked the senior administration official who penned an anonymous anti-Donald Trump op-ed for the New York Times, calling him “cowardly” — just weeks after she attempted to criticize her own husband anonymously to Washington Post reporter.

In an interview with Fox & Friends this morning, Conway said the anonymous official responsible for the op-ed “should be named, blamed, and shamed for not having the courage to come forward,” adding that “cowards are like criminals,” so the writer will “eventually” out himself by blabbing to someone.

Just last month, however, Conway attempted to anonymously bash her husband, George Conway, for being “disrespectful” by tweeting anti-Trump posts.

When Post reporter Ben Terris asked about her husband’s tweets for a profile, Conway said, “[they are] disrespectful, it’s a violation of basic decency, certainly, if not marital vows . . . as ‘a person familiar with their relationship.'”

Terris did not allow Conway to switch to off-the-record just to bash her husband, though, replying, “No, we’re on the record here. You can’t say after the fact ‘as someone familiar.'”

“I told you everything about his tweets was off the record,” Conway shot back.

The reporter told Conway that “never happened,” to which the White House official then pivoted to claiming that is how other people “see” his tweets.
