LeBron James: Going to the White House Was ‘Great Honor’ Until Trump Showed Up

LeBron James tweeted this morning in defense of Stephen Curry after President Trump withdrew the latter’s White House invite.
Curry indicated yesterday he had no interest in going to the White House and said the Warriors would discuss the matter, but the President today announced on Twitter he’s no longer welcome:
Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017
Well, James fired back and disputed the “great honor” part:
U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain’t going! So therefore ain’t no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!

James took to Instagram this afternoon continue his objection to Trump’s comments. “It’s not about dividing. We as American people need to come together even stronger,” he said.
