Man in Freakishly Realistic Tom Brady Mask Creeps Out Today Show Hosts

Following his viral debut at the Patriots-Cardinals game Sunday, the man in the ultra-convincing somewhat creepy Tom Brady mask stopped by the Today show on Wednesday.

And indeed, the show’s host appeared to be a bit freaked out.

“I know you can’t speak ’cause you have the mask…so you just sit there and look pretty slash creepy.” Savannah Guthrie said.

“The closer you get, the scarier it is,” added Willie Geist.

Turns out the man behind the mask is Dan Worthington of Bleacher Report. The online sports outlet conceived the idea of having fake Brady tour random sites while the real Brady is serving his 4-game deflategate suspension. To replicate the quarterback’s signature look, they reached out to a company that creates masks for various movie productions. And as you can see, the results are uncanny.
