Mass. Man Gives Cop a Pretty Wild but Totally Reasonable Excuse for Speeding
Here’s our contender for luckiest man of the year. Massachusetts man Scott Lowe won the state lottery, which was worth $50,000, and he excitedly drove to lottery headquarters in order to claim it. He was pulled over by a cop for speeding, and he pulled out the lottery ticket and showed them he won, and his lucky streak continued, with the police officer letting him off with a warning.
In addition, the local police department sent out a few tweets describing the incident and affirming that yes, he got off easily.
Officer just stopped driver for speeding & driver was shaking. Said he just won $50K & was going to Lottery HQ. Showed him scratch ticket.

We should all be so lucky to have winning lottery tickets when cops pull us over.
