Mediaite Adds 3 Writer/Editors In Preparation For Political Season
You may have noticed some new names on Mediaite articles and the masthead. That would probably be because in the past two months we have hired three new writer/editors in preparation for this heated political season.
All three have already received warm, hearty welcomes from the people and entities that Mediaite covers. Andrew Kirell comes to us from the Fox Business Channel (previously ABC News) and was greeted by Glenn Beck calling him a “moron” and “buffoon” in his first week. Noah Rothman, formerly the political editor at Ology.com, has already been accused on DailyKos of “obfuscating” “….with a dose of denial followed up with a dollop of distraction.” And finally, there’s former Mediaite intern Meenal Vamburkar, whom ambush king Jason Mattera so eloquently called a “dumb-ass” on Twitter.
All are flattered by, and a bit bashful about, the effusive praise being heaped upon them thus far.
Seriously, they are all great writers with differing points of view and I am thrilled to have them as Mediaite becomes one of the “must read” sites heading into the 2012 election.
