Mediaite is Hiring a Reporter to Cover Podcasts

Mediaite is looking for an ambitious and energetic reporter to cover the podcast industry. You would be covering the top podcasts — from sports to entertainment to politics — the biggest personalities in podcasting, and the industry as a whole.

Are you an aspiring or experienced reporter with an obsessive knowledge of the podcast industry? We want to hear from you.

Requirements:

– An in-depth knowledge of the world of podcasting, as well as YouTube shows and other video-based programming.

– Ability to find coverage of the topics bubbling up in the podcasting world before they have been widely reported.

– A clear understanding of the viral stories shaping the news cycle.

– Strong news judgment for entertainment, comedy, and politics content and an eye for underreported stories and ideas. Can you find the nugget of interest that no one else has focused on?
