Meghan McCain Slams CPAC for Using Ghost of Her Beloved Father for ‘Ghoulish’ Political Propaganda

On Sunday, Meghan McCain slammed CPAC for using her father for “ghoulish” political propaganda.

McCain’s Twitter remark came in response to conservative commentator Allie Beth Stuckey tweeting out that she was “proud” of the conservations she was part of while at CPAC.

“Lots of complaints from left & right about what CPAC was or wasn’t this year. I don’t care what anyone says—I’m proud of the conversations I was a part of about religious liberty and the future of the American family,” Stuckey tweeted.

In response, McCain tweeted out this: “I care that ‘the ghost’ of my beloved father was used as ghoulish and deeply disturbed political propaganda on CPAC’s stage, but hey maybe that’s just me.”

McCain was referring to comments made by Michelle Malkin during the conservative conference.

“Sanctuary cities have metastasized and both parties are to blame,” Malkin said during CPAC.

Then after calling out Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and the Bush family, Malkin added: “I’m looking at you, the ghost of John McCain.”

The crowd reacted with thunderous applause.

For the record, Stuckey later clarified that she was not talking about Malkin’s remarks about McCain’s father with her pro-CPAC tweet. She also said that after ironing out the misunderstanding “everything’s all good! Sorry there’s not more drama for you.”
