O’Reilly: Franken, Warren Show How Far-Left ‘Zealots’ Are Dominating the Democratic Party
Tonight Bill O’Reilly called out two Democratic senators — Al Franken and Elizabeth Warren — to illustrate his point about how far-left “zealots” are consuming most of the oxygen in the Democratic party.
O’Reilly first took on Franken (which will trigger early 2000s flashbacks in only the most dedicated of cable news junkies) for his attacks on Betsy DeVos. Franken called her the “most incompetent” Cabinet-level nominee he’s ever seen, and O’Reilly said he’s only so against her because the teachers’ unions donate money to him.
As for Warren, who he called “as close to a socialist as you can get,” O’Reilly slammed her for trying to “smear” Jeff Sessions as a racist last night.
Geraldo Rivera told O’Reilly this might re-energize Democrats ahead of 2018, while Eric Bolling said it will probably hurt them more, especially if it fuels a Warren 2020 run.
