Prison Instructor Will Be Charged in Connection with NY Prisoner Escape

 

joyce mitchellA prison instructor suspected of helping the two convicts who escaped from an upstate New York prison will be charged today in connection with the prison break.

Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility and authorities believe instructor Joyce Mitchell helped them out.

According to CBS News, law enforcement believes Mitchell agreed to give the two men “prohibited items” and even agreed to be their getaway driver.

Clinton County Sheriff David Favro said today Mitchell will be arraigned on unknown charges.
