Pro-Cop Blue Ribbons Ordered Removed in Mass. Town
Law enforcement families have been putting up blue ribbons in the town of Royalston, Massachusetts to show support for the police. But they’ve been ordered to be removed over a pretty minor issue.
See, apparently there was no official meeting of the town’s select board to put them up, but they received a verbal okay to keep the ribbons up through the month of September.
When the blue ribbons started going up, the local police department posted about it:
However, according to Fox 25 Boston, there were complaints from two residents about the blue ribbons.
The select board voted to retroactively grant the permit, but it lasted up until today––two days before 9/11.
