Report: Charles Kushner, Jared Kushner’s Father, in Talks to Buy Miami Marlins

Is Ivanka Trump‘s father-in-law in negotiations to purchase a Major League Baseball franchise?
ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports, citing multiple sources, that Charles Kushner, father of Jared Kushner, is part of a group looking to purchase the Miami Marlins.
Charles Kushner’s bid could be complicated by factors beyond President Donald Trump being Jared Kushner’s father-in-law. Charles pleaded guilty to 18 counts of tax evasion, witness tampering, and illegal campaign contributions in 2005.
Major League Baseball issued a statement denying the report.

Any sale would require approval from Major League Baseball’s owners.
