Reporters Crash Hillary Clinton’s Facebook Q&A
Hillary Clinton’s Facebook Q & A was supposed to allow Clinton take questions from ordinary Americans about her positions. But a number of journalists flooded the event to ask the media-shy presidential candidate their own questions.
A few journalists actually managed to get their questions answered (mostly the left-leaning ones). Among them was Washington Post‘s Wesley Lowery, with a question about the Black Lives Matter movement…
…and the Huffington Post’s Laura Bassett and Alexander Howard:
Clinton also answered a question from CNN’s Dan Merica pressing her on a potential flip-flop, although she dodged the question on why her views changed:
Among the reporters who were snubbed were BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski, who wrote a long string of questions:
…the Washington Examiner’s Ariel Cohen:
…Business Insider’s Hunter Walker:
…and MSNBC’s Alex Seitz-Wald:
A few conservative organizations (and Grover Norquist) showed up for the fun as well:
But to be fair to Clinton, a few reporters’ questions weren’t exactly the most serious:
