RNC Spox Kayleigh McEnany Touts Russia Indictments as End of ‘Russia Collusion Conspiracy’
RNC spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany immediately reacted to the Russian indictments today by saying, “Today marks the day that the Democrats’ Russia collusion conspiracy theory unraveled.”
She brought up some of the information in the indictments about online promotion of Bernie Sanders and post-election rallies that were were anti-Trump in nature.
And she referenced Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein‘s comments that “there is no allegation in this indictment that any American had any knowledge.”
McEnany declared, “Democrats deceived this country and they were caught today.”
Jehmu Greene said now President Trump should be able to acknowledge the scope of Russian meddling, given his past statements.
McEnany shot back, “The President has said yes, the Russians have meddled in our election and it’s a very serious thing. He has said that. That is documented, that is accurate.”
She proceeded to accuse Greene of trying to “deceive” and confuse viewers.
McEnany also raised the same point about the anti-Trump rallies on Twitter, and multiple people pointed out the problem with that one:

This is true. Also true is that they organized for him, including at times in communication with unwitting Trump campaign officials, multiple times throughout the election. https://t.co/xgkRJQKyna
