Al Sharpton is ready to leave the country if Donald Trump becomes president, though he joked Trump might boot him out anyway.
Earlier this week, Sharpton sort-of defended Trump by saying he’s not so much a bigot as he is the white Don King.
Today Sharpton talked about Trump at a Center for American Progress event, saying, “If Donald Trump is the nominee, I’m open to support anyone while I’m also reserving my ticket to get outta here if he wins, only because he’d probably have me deported anyway.”
Sharpton also said that Trump isn’t “faking that he’s a right-winger,” just that he’s not a big policy guy.
