Sorry About the Annoying Autoplay Ads — Help Us Stamp Them Out!

As some of our loyal readers have pointed out over the past couple of weeks, we’ve experienced a handful of annoying autoplay video ads on the site.

They start playing while you’re trying to watch a video, and some even come with no “mute” function… only removable through some ad-block software. This is not supposed to happen.

We are working as hard as we can to fix the problem and have these ads permanently removed but we could really use your help.

So that we can make sure you, our readers, have the best possible experience: If you see or hear an autoplay video ad, please send an email to autoplay@mediaite.com and tell us what the ad is for, where it is located on the page, and, if possible, send a screenshot of the page so we see it.

Your assistance will go a long way in targeting specific ads that are violating our policy. We truly appreciate your readership and want to make your experience as enjoyable as possible!
