Ted Cruz’s Newest Campaign Ad Features a Big Duck Dynasty Endorsement

Ted Cruz released a new video on his Youtube account today showing that he’s got the coveted Robertson family vote on lock from the show Duck Dynasty.

The video shows patriarch Phil Robertson going over his qualifications for who would make the best POTUS. “Is he or she godly? Does he or she love us? Does he or she do the job?” Robertson asked. “And finally, would they kill a duck, put it in a pot and make ’em a good duck gumbo?”

The rest of the video gives exactly what you’d expect: Cruz joining Robertson in full hunting attire (plus face paint), Robertson announcing his whole family was behind the Texas senator, and of course, firing off a few rounds.
