This season of The Bachelor, one of the most controversial moments was not a screaming fight, nor was it most of the women ganging up on one of the women to accuse her of “not being there for the right reasons.” No. The most controversial moment was when Corinne Olympios took a nap during a rose ceremony. Olympios responded to the controversy in pretty much the most perfect way possible, saying, “Michael Jordan took naps. Abraham Lincoln took naps.”
Apparently today is National Napping Day, and Olympios has released a video on E! Online on behalf of “the Association of Tired People” to raise awareness for the holiday. “We all get up early and go to work as productive adults,” she says. “We make phone calls, send emails, and attend meetings. Then it creeps into late afternoon and the struggle is real!” It sure is.
“Mid-afternoon naps are an essential part of most cultures, and scientifically proven to be good for you” she continues. “Today, if you’re tired from daylight savings, or just from being your fabulous self, just think: WWCD? What would Corinne do?”
