The Secret Service Issues a Brief Comment on Trump’s ‘Second Amendment’ Remark

We’re now apparently at the part of the campaign where the Secret Service is issuing comment in response to a comment made by one of the people they’re protecting about one of the other people they’re protecting:

The Secret Service is aware of the comments made earlier this afternoon.

Pretty blunt tweet over a presidential candidate intimating “Second Amendment people” targeting a political rival…

And a lot of people couldn’t help but find this rather striking:

The Secret Service also said to reporters earlier they won’t be making additional comment.
