This Happened: Woman In Fake Beard Robs An Alabama Bank

Points for creativity: A woman robbed a Tuscaloosa, Alabama bank late last week with the help of a fake bomb. She was able to successfully steal an undisclosed amount of money, leaving the fake weapon on a counter before making her escape in a maroon-colored vehicle.

Of particular note is the woman’s hand-drawn fake beard.

Yup.

She was also dressed in men’s clothing and a tan cap, which is a nice change of pace from the usual parade of ski masks or pantyhose-over-the-face that we’re used to seeing season after season.

Those investigating the case believe the same woman may have robbed another bank — also using a fake bomb and drawn-on beard — a couple of weeks ago.
