This Video of an Employee Peeing in the Kellogg’s Factory Launched a Criminal Investigation
This weekend, a video hit the Internet with the force of a stream of pee hitting a conveyor belt used to transport cereal. No, with the force of a family brand’s stocks crashing to the floor. No! With the force of the book getting thrown at a perpetrator. Eventually, following the criminal investigation into who has been peeing in your cornflakes, that is what will happen.
In the spirit of Mondays, here is the video in question:
See how someone is deliberately urinating all over the floor and conveyor belt in what certainly looks like a Kellogg’s factory? Yeah, the bigwigs at the company saw it, too. According to CBS, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigation has gotten involved.
Kellogg Company reported that they were able to determine that the incident took place in their Memphis factory in 2014. Refusing to even acknowledge that someone may have ingested the affected Rice Krispies Treats or granola clusters, they said the following:
It is important to note that any products that could be potentially impacted would be very limited and past their expiration dates.
Well, that’s optimistic. Nay, it’s snap, crackle, poptimistic.
