Trump’s Former Accountant Has Broken His Silence on the Tax Scandal

Inside Edition caught up with the accounted cited in the bombshell New York Times report about Donald Trump‘s taxes and their short chat with him did not disappoint.

Jack Mitnick explained that despite the candidate’s claims that he “brilliantly” manipulated tax laws to his benefit, Trump had very little to do with his own taxes. Mitnick is the one who “did all the work.”

So, if Trump really didn’t pay his federal income taxes for 18 years, Mitnick appears to be the one behind it all because he revealed that Trump never saw his tax papers until it was time to sign them.

Still, he doesn’t know who leaked the tax releases to the Times and caused all this drama in the first place. Since the return address on the envelope containing the returns was listed as Trump Tower, that burning question won’t be going away any time soon.
