Tulsi Gabbard’s Newly-Announced Speaking Appearance at CPAC Draws Ridicule: ‘Hysterical How Predictable This Was’

American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp announced on Monday that former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) will appear at the organization’s annual Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, this week.
Gabbard’s record in Congress included voting with former President Donald Trump just 20.1 percent of the time, according to FiveThirtyEight. However, she has been critical of the Democratic Party and has made numerous appearances on Tucker Carlson Tonight and other Fox News programs. Like Trump, Gabbard is dovish on military intervention.
Gabbard unsuccessfully ran for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.
Gabbard won’t be the only Democrat to have appeared at CPAC. Former Bill Clinton adviser Paul Begala was at the event in 2013, while former Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) appeared in 2015 and former Obama adviser and current CNN commentator Van Jones was there in 2019.
The former congresswoman’s appearance is drawing mockery and ridicule from all sides:

Sure, she’s weak on taxes, the budget, spending, energy, the environment, labor issues, government integrity, transparency, and “human dignity,” per the ACU, but she slags on Biden on teevee and that’s what’s really important.

When owning the Left is all you have left, you bring in a speaker who had a horrible rating by conservative groups but who now makes her living trashing Democrats. https://t.co/Z7u0AErzV5
