Music Legends Honor Aretha Franklin With an Outpouring of R-E-S-P-E-C-T: ‘Goodbye Queen of Soul’

The musical world is in mourning today over the news that Arethra Franklin has passed away at the age of 76.
The R&B legend was surrounded by family and friends on Thursday when she died at her home in Detroit after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer. Franklin, known as the Queen of Soul, was the first ever inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame — and she recorded scores of hit songs including; “Respect,” “Think,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.”
Various celebrities, media figures, and especially musicians have gone on Twitter to pay tribute to Franklin and celebrate her legacy.
