Twitter Mocks White House’s Straight Outta Compton Reference to Iran

 

In the anticipation of the N.W.A biographic film Straight Outta Compton, the White House decided to spice up their selling points on the Iran deal by appealing to gangsta rap fans.

In a response to a tweet from Buzzfeed describing the film as already becoming the most “memetacular” film of the year, the official Twitter profile for the Iran Deal decided to put it to the test… because it’s clearly the perfect time to make a point about curbing nuclear threats:

Not surprisingly, Twitter users had some interesting takes on the Obama administration’s latest effort to make politics “hip and relatable” with the cool crowd:

This, of course, is a reference to Hillary Clinton‘s effort yesterday to get people to use emojis to describe how student loans made them feel. It went about as well as this did, and many people pointed that out:
