Twitter Ridicules Trump and Trey Gowdy on Niger-Benghazi Parallels: ‘Where is the Outrage?’

If you haven’t been paying attention — President Donald Trump has spent the past day making either false or inappropriate claims about Barack Obama (and his Presidential predecessors) in regards to contacting the families of fallen service members. At the same time, he has been fairly criticized for ignoring the recent ambush on US soldiers in Niger.
If the scenario sounds eerily similar to the attacks in Benghazi four years go, then you are not alone. “Blue Check Twitter” took notice that both Trump and congressmen like Trey Gowdy hounded Obama and Hillary Clinton on the infamous Benghazi attack for years, but can’t seem to find their tongue or fingers in the wake of four dead Americans. To wit:
Four Americans killed in Africa:
In Benghazi (2012): Pres. Obama & Sec. Clinton greet the coffins.
In Niger (2017): Trump goes golfing. pic.twitter.com/p1mzms2egh

Can someone remind Trump about:
1) Puerto Rico and USVI
2) CA wildfires
3) combat loss in NigerEither he doesn’t know, or doesn’t care.

Where is the outrage from the congressional chicken-hawks over the disturbingly murky story of the deaths of 4 service members earlier this month in Niger? I can’t hear you, Trey Gowdy. Darrell Issa. Bob Goodlatte. #Niger https://t.co/3IjWHI9Ci6

I look forward to @TGowdySC looking into the Niger attacks in the same manner he investigated Benghazi.

Trump uses troops when he thinks he can benefit. 14 days and he has yet to contact the families of the 4 dead soldiers ambushed in #Niger . pic.twitter.com/eMWmqx5KJy

4 Americans die in Benghazi: 7 congressional probes, endless media
4 Americans die in Niger: crickets
I wonder why?https://t.co/xb7W0oNYt4

Clearly— this collective Twitter reaction is only a pre-cursor to the incoming explosive, Benghazi-like crusade from Republicans…
