WATCH: Here’s The Best Stuff ABC Left Out of Comey Interview Broadcast

In the extremely unlikely event you weren’t aware, ABC, on Sunday night, aired an hour-long 20/20 special in which George Stephanopoulos interviewed former FBI Director James Comey.

But the unedited interview spanned more than five hours, and ABC was forced to leave plenty of good stuff on the cutting room floor. Here, we’ve compiled some of the best material ABC left out of its original broadcast:

1. Comey describes the moment he cemented the fact that he’d never have a cordial relationship with Trump:

According to Comey, President Donald Trump didn’t take kindly to the FBI director’s assertion that the U.S. is “not the same kind of killer” as Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“When I said that, the weather changed in the room,” Comey told Stephanopoulos. “A shadow crossed his face. And he got this strange, kind of hard look.”

2. Comey claims John Kelly — then Secretary of Homeland Security — wanted to resign after Comey was fired:

The current White House Chief of Staff might never have made it to that post, according to Comey, if he’d followed through on his plan to resign after Comey’s ouster. The former FBI Director says he talked Kelly out of quitting.

“Please don’t do that,” Comey said he told Kelly. “This president needs people of character and principle around him — especially this president.”

3. Comey recounts an emotional moment he shared with President Barack Obama after the 2016 election:

As many Democrats viewed him with scorn following his actions in the Hillary Clinton email probe, Comey recalled the moment when the party’s leader expressed his confidence in him to lead the Bureau.

“‘I appointed you to FBI Director because of your integrity and your ability,'” Comey says Obama told him. “And he looked me in the eye and he said, ‘Nothing has happened — nothing — in the last year that has changed all that.'”

Comey added, “It meant a lot to me.”

4. Comey bashes Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein for the memo he wrote to Attorney General Jeff Sessions recommending Comey’s ouster.

The former FBI director has no love for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

“The deputy attorney general, in my view, had acted dishonorably by putting out this pretext about why I was fired,” Comey said (via ABC transcript).

CORRECTION: A previous version of this post incorrectly stated that comments made by Comey about special counsel Robert Mueller did not air during the original broadcast. The post has been amended.
