WATCH: NFL Great Michael Irvin Gets Sweat Wiped By Staff in Bonkers Shouting Match With Stephen A. Smith

We hereby take a timeout from our wall-to-wall election coverage here at Mediaite to bring you…yeah, we really don’t know what this is.

Monday on ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A. Smith and legendary Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin got into a heated debate over the legacy of America’s team.

“Y’all won two playoff games in 25 years,” Smith said. “And you’re gonna sit up here, sticking out your chest, talking about how it’s the dawn of a new day?! Y’all ain’t nothing! Okay?! You ain’t been nothing!”

The diatribe from Smith elicited jeers from the live audience (a packed live audience, amazingly) at an entertainment district near AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Irvin fired back to defend the honor of the Cowboys. Specifically, Irvin delivered a passionate defense of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

“All of this rhetoric, that y’all sing out y’all mouth, singing on the radio like y’all humming like Donna Summers or somebody, is just NOISE! ARE YOU CRAZY?! Dak Prescott is a BIG-TIME PLAYER!” Irvin said.

The Cowboys legend was actually sweating so profusely following the rant that he had to towel off.

This segment truly defies decription. But you can watch above, via ESPN.
